There is one constant in life that no man can escape from, and that is DEATH. ‘It is appointed unto men to die once, and after death, judgment.’ – Hebrews 9:27.
If life is a journey of 10,000km, then life after death is 100,000gazillion kilometres. But regardless of what you had on earth, if you did not believe in the suffering, the death and the resurrection of Christ, and turn away from sin, then just like the rich man at whose feet Lazarus ate, you will burn in an unquenchable fire that knows no status or wealth! You will gnash your teeth and wail from excruating pain, and nobody will pay heed to you. For unless you repent, you too will perish! – Luke 13:5
THERE IS NO SECOND CHANCE ONCE YOU DIE!! Hell is licking its lips in anticipation, opening its mouth wide – Isaiah 5:14
So the question is: Where are you going to when your spirit leaves your body eternally? Heaven or Hell? If hell is your answer, but you want to surrender your life and trust in the Lord Jesus to save your spirit and soul from eternal suffering, pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I give you my heart and mind this day. With my heart I believe that you died for me, and that God raised you from the dead. I confess with my mouth today that you are the Lord. I will follow you from this day onward in your Holy name, Amen!
I have awesome news for you! This is what the Bible says: “there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” You just caused a party in heaven with your decision!! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 This is what has happened:
- He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24 [NIV]
- God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11 [NIV]
- There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1 [NKJV]
And finally, Colossians 2:6 [NLT] reads:
“Just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will growstrong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” 😊😊😊
HOW DO YOU REMAIN?:
- Join a church! A Bible-believing one. No child born into the streets survives unless they’re picked up and catered for by people who have been in this world for a while.
- Get Involved! Join their discipling class, join a department.
- Start exploring the Scriptures. It’s most advisable to begin with the records of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Make notes as you study.
- Talk to God. More than you talk to anyone else!
